Ceramics Production

Egocentric video of ceramic casting, glazing, finishing, and painting from production studios, annotated for physical AI training.

Ceramics production is repetitive, delicate, and almost entirely manual. Pouring a mold, trimming a seam, dipping a glaze, and painting a line all depend on steady hands and a sense of how wet clay and glaze behave. It is a good test for any model that claims to handle deformable and fragile objects.

Our collectors wear cameras through full production shifts, so you see the same operations repeated across hundreds of pieces with natural variation. Overhead cameras capture the wheel, the bench, and the kiln area in sync.

We collect in working studios and small factories, not demonstration setups. Participants are consented and paid, and the footage is cleared for commercial use.

Episodes are segmented by step, labeled in plain language, and tagged for success, defects, and rework. Object tracking for pieces, molds, and brushes is available. You receive the data in your format.
