Water Heater or Shower Head Installation

A tank water heater weighs more than most people want to carry down a basement stair, and it has to be set plumb, connected to water, connected to gas or power, and vented correctly before it is safe to run. A shower head swap is the opposite end of the scale: a few minutes with thread tape and a wrench. We film both because a model that handles the heavy, multi-system job and the quick fixture job has seen the range of what a plumber actually does.

For heaters, the head camera follows draining the old unit with a hose, disconnecting lines, moving the tank with a dolly, positioning the new one, sweating or compression-fitting the water connections, wiring or gas-fitting, installing the T&P discharge line, filling, purging air, and lighting or powering up. For shower heads, the camera records removing the old head, cleaning the shower arm threads, wrapping tape in the right direction, hand tightening, and checking for drips at the joint.

Fixed cameras document the lifting and dolly work, which matters for anyone studying how a worker moves a heavy object through a tight space.

Each installation is delivered as an episode with labeled steps and success or failure tags. Hand and tool tracking are optional. We write everything to your storage in your schema, and all footage comes from consented, paid plumbers on real jobs, cleared for commercial model training.
