Store Receiving or Stock Handling

The back door of a store is where a delivery becomes inventory. A pallet comes off a truck on a jack, the receiver checks it against the invoice, breaks it down by department, scans cases, and moves them to the backroom or the floor. Damaged cases are flagged. Chilled product goes straight to the cooler. The whole thing has to happen fast because the truck is on a schedule.

We film receiving with a head camera on the receiver and fixed cameras at the dock, the backroom, and the cooler. The footage covers the pallet jack handling, the shrink wrap being cut and pulled, the scanner on each case, the sort into carts or rolling cages by department, and the stacking in the backroom so the next shift can find things. It also shows the paperwork and the moment a short shipment is noticed.

A receiver uses judgment throughout. They decide whether a dented case is sellable. They stack heavy items low. They reorder the sort when a cart is full before the pallet is empty.

Each delivery is an episode with labeled steps such as "unload pallet", "scan case", "sort by department", and "stage in backroom", tagged for success or failure. Hand and object tracking can be included. We deliver in your schema to your storage from consented and paid workers filming in real stores in five countries.
