Over a shift the worker removes mats, vacuums with a crevice tool, cleans cup holders with a small brush, applies protectant to vinyl, conditions leather, and works a steamer or extractor on seats. They check their work from several angles and go back to spots they missed.
A head camera shows what the detailer is looking at and what their hands are doing inside the cabin, where a fixed camera cannot see. Fixed cameras in the bay cover the body posture and the sequence of opening doors and moving around the car. The feeds are synchronized and we record full shifts at operating detail shops and dealerships in five countries.
A researcher receives episodes such as one vehicle or one zone of a vehicle, with steps labeled in plain language and tagged success or failure. Hand and tool tracking is optional. The data is delivered in your own schema to your own storage. Consent and payment are handled before a single frame is recorded, and the data is cleared for commercial use.
Samples are sent within a business day.
